Composed by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. Arranged by Liz Garnett. Contemporary. Octavo. 3 pages. Liz Garnett #6563213. Published by Liz Garnett (A0.856263).

This is the ballad that Cottowntown Chorus commissioned as part of their landmark Mary Poppins set for the 2011 BABS Chorus contest. The song is the emotional heart of the movie, appearing first as a gentle lullaby, but then precipitating the main moral conflict of the musical. The beauty of the melody tells us that however rational the world of banking may be, kindness and charity should - and eventually do - win the day.

Vocal Ranges:
Tenor: C4 - B4
Lead: C3 - G4
Bari: E3 - G4
Bass: G2 - B3
